
Caramelized onion jam with balsamic vinegar
This savoury sweet caramelized onion jam is the perfect condiment to spice up meat dishes (hello burgers!) or slather on a grilled cheese sandwich. The balsamic vinegar adds a really nice finale note. This jam is also one of my favourite ways to top a cheese board.
Each jar is 125 mL and is canned in a water bath for shelf stability (with the proper pH). This will last unopened for up to a year in a dark, cool place. Once opened will last in the fridge for up to a week.
